Red Deer, Alberta, Friday May 5 and Sat. May 6, 2006 is the annual Collector Car Swap Meet, which is the largest in Western Canada. Dad and I will have a couple of tables in the centre hall selling junk ( I mean "rare automotive artifacts") for various makes and some Hudson parts as well. We will be promoting the July 29th Alberta Hudson Meet to all Hudson, Essex and Terraplane enthusiasts. I am sure we will meet some of these people who are unaware of our growing group of Hudnuts. Stop by and say hello. Bob C.

Came with the hopes of finding some Hudson stuff and saw a few things plus got a lot of nice old double page Hudson ads.
Saw Bob and his Dad at their table where they were displaying our poster for the upcoming meet. I would say Bob was the only Hudson parts guy there. Did find a couple of leads on parts by talking to some of the vendors.
If you have a Chev or a Ford you can get anything, and I mean anything for those brands. For Hudsons you have to dig. Or come to a Hudson meet like ours
I cannot believe what some of the vendors wanted for parts. I see these same guys at all the shows with the same table of parts. Absolutely crazy.
All-in-all a nice event. Saw a guy ourside selling a mint unrestored Chevy for $6500 now that was a deal. So there were bargains there you just had to dig to find them.
