So folks,

here we go again with this 49 Commodore Coupe. Its been on ebay a few times and hasn't sold. Price is at 21 grand now and no where near the reserve I feel. I would say that 30-35K would be a great price to pay for this car.

You get a totally restored car that in the pictures looks pristine it has upgraded wiring and an alternator plus vintage air. When you consider what it costs to restore one of these cars its a good deal.

What do you guys think? any other examples....

I've heard people saying evil things about the seller. But then again, you know how evil some people are.

I don't think I would buy a car from Buster. They have nice stuff, but this one is wierd, It's a super 8, by the number, looks like someone either switched the plate, see the screws, didn't have a title, for this car, or more likely, went thru and put the few items that make it a commodore on the car.

Looking at the detail, I think this car was always a commodore 8. I think the car the serial number came from was a super 8. My reasons for this are specific to one, those seats, commodores used foam, the supers did not. they had a cheaper, but more time kind filler of like a cotton. the tag references foam.

Go figure. great looking car, even like the colors. Heck, I could live with a straight 8.
