I don't know the answer to that one. Maybe Dave does. When I got my Hornet it did not have one of these jacks it had been replaced with a little pump jack that you place under the axle.

I looked at all the owners manuals I have and none show where the jack is stowed.
I now carry a small hydraulic shop jack with me. Much prefer that for jacking and it stows nicely in the back of the trunk.

Since my spare is stored vertically and my car has a Hudson hydraulic jack, I'll try my best to answer the question.
I think there should be a long, threaded "J" style bolt that hooks into a fitting on the floor of the trunk. The tire gets placed over the J bolt. Then, the circular metal cover goes on top of the tire. The jack base goes over the J bolt, upside down with round part placed into the hole in the cover. This all gets secured with a large wing nut with a large washer between it and the jack base. The jack assembly gets assembled and the tire iron gets secured to it using a metal clip or rubber sleeve. The jack and tire iron stow below the tire and are held in place by the tire which is now secured in place.

Excellent! If the judges give you a hard time at the show, tell them to contact your American friend (ME!) here and I'll set them straight.

Very cool. Man, I thought taking a tent to a car show outing was a good idea until I saw the old campers. Looks like lots of fun. Lots of cool car pictures, but your Hudson looks the best. What is the building in photo 19.131? It looks like it could be a castle or maybe Sean's house.
Sean, can you stop by and pick me up on your way to Sweden?
