Hey folks,
here is a question for our Canadian members.
Who is having trouble receiving the White Triangle News magazine put out bimonthly by the HET club.?
On average it takes 4 weeks for me to get my issue. This happens every issue. I have never received a copy of the WTN in less than 4 weeks. I have been calling around to canuck HETer's I know and am hearing the same story.
Can you post your experiences here. I have contacted Sam Jackson the editor of the WTN and he is trying to track down the problem. I will report back here with any news.
thanks.....Sean

The delayed WTN happens to me as well. It basically makes the For Sale listings in the back pointless for Canadians since we're at least a month behind everyone else looking for cars or parts. I can see a week or two, but not a month. Perhaps an electronic version could be made available on the club website?

| Yes I am also disgusted with the long delays in getting the WTN. As far as I am concerned there is no excuse in this. I think they should direct mail thru the post office and forget about third parties.

Ok Folks,
I think we have straightened out the mailing issue with the WTN. If you have regular mail it will take 4-6 weeks as that is surface.
If you have first class mail it should come in a timely fashion. The next months WTN the Nov/Dec will be the first test of the new mailing so if you have first class mail please post here how long it takes to arrive.
Thanks,
Sean

Hey Warren,
do you have First Class mail on your WTN. If so we will be getting them sooner as they will be sent out first class now.
So if you do tell me how long the Nov/Dec WTN takes to come.

I'm not sure which service level I have but I'm pretty confident it isn't the slowest one; probably the mid-level.

They only have two levels. Regular and first class. The First Class is $34 US

I guess we can say that the problems with the WTN delivery to Canada are solved now. Thanks to Sam Jackson for listening to me whine and complain and thanks to the USPS and Canada Post for helping me track down the problem.
