1930 Hudson Great 8 Convertible. Nice car. The resto looks pretty iffy. The paint looks poor. Still a nice car to look at. Doubt it will hit the BIN of $49,900

It looks like a roller was used to apply the paint. Talk about a 20 footer, this is it. The lack of attention to detail is atrocious. I predict a No Sale.
The few things I like are the wild Art Deco styling of the dash and steering wheel.

| A 20 year old marginal cosmetic restoration. Wonderful car, but not a $49K car. Toss about 20K at it and you could have a $49K car. Phillips screws with upholstery washers holding the door upholstery in? Poor bodywork, starting to show through the old paint, bumpers need to be re-plated, lots of dings and small flaws in the stainless and aluminium trim. People aren't tossing stupid money at marginal cars right now, good cars sell, fair cars sell for fair prices, not #1 trailer queen prices.

In order to do it right, you'd have to tear this car apart and start from scratch. Speaking of scratch, a proper restoration would take lots of that. Obviously, the seller is still living in the economy of the past.
