I really feel for this guy. If he really did spend 15K he hosed himself. He will not get an offer on this car which is maybe what he intends.

If he finishes it and does a nice job, he can get about 1/3 of his money back.
I've said it hundreds of times, if you are going to sink serious jack into restoring a car, make sure it is a desireable model. It costs about the same, give or take a little to restore a 4 door sedan and a convertible.

If this guy spent $15k on this car and this is as far as he got, no wonder his wife divorced him.
I get what you're saying Moe, but when you consider everything that a convertible top entails, it would cost much less to restore a coupe or 4 dr. If the car were finished, he'd be very lucky to get 1/3 of his moola back.

Back starting at 8K now with reserve. This car has zero chance of selling. Which I think he knows. But does look like he made the effort to sell.
