Wow, it's the little old lady from Pasadena, years before she bought a brand new shiney red super stock Dodge. She was the terror of Colorado Boulevard in the Hudson, too.

Ah, the good old days...life was simple and you could buy new Hudsons. I bet granny appreciated the step down design.

Are you drooling yet Moe? Can't you just imagine that in your driveway?

Although Moe is not fussy when it comes to the skirts, I meant the car, Sean, not the dames. Laughing Granny is probably dust now. If she's still alive, the younger dame probably looks like granny does in this picture.

I'll quote a fine american, Ben Franklin: "although the upper regions may sag and lose their vigor, the lower regions remain plump and in good order. All cats are gray in the darkness"

That is the bodystyle that needs to head the Moe Fleet, I had a couple of emergency expenses, so the toy fund is a little slimmer right now. A nice 48-49 coupe will undoubtedly show up now, close to me, but for just about what I USED to have on hand, ready to snag my stepdown. I'll replace the money when the bike sells, and then some..... but the situation makes me nervous. The way my luck goes, I'll end up just missing out on a great coupe trying to put together a few bucks in a hurry.

And let me add this: "An old women's stuff is like Africa, everyone knows where it is, but nobody wants to go there."

Moe, sorry to hear you've had an energency. What can you do, shit happens and we just have to deal with it. I hope all is well now.

Patience my dear Moeington. As the saying goes, when it's meant to be it will be. When all is right, you'll have the Hudson you want at a price you'll like. Take me for example. Just when I thought I'd never find anything short of a cobbled mess of a Hudson, one came along that was professionally restored and priced well below market. As for Sean, he lucked out too. He bought his car in Canada and it was in such good shape, he was able to drive it quite a distance to get it home. You'll be adding your story to ours before you know it.

I am a patient man, thankfully. Everything will work out, just not according to my schedule.

And a virtuous one too. These things take time. After all, it's not like trying to find a Ford or Chevy.
