Hello all,

We are new here and oun a 491 Hudson in need of restoration/rodding? Anyways, what movies have you all seen Hudsons in?

Driving Miss Daisy is too easy so don't mention that one. It is a beautiful car though.

We noticed one in "Pleasantville". Of course the Hornet in "Cars". There is a 50-52 Hudson toy car at the end of "The Polar Express" the toy train rounds a corner and there she is. My wife picked out another 50's Hudson in a recent movie that had one in it too...can't remember the name.

How about you guys?

Max & angel

Hey Max & Angel

good topic my daughter and I watch for Hudsons in everything we watch. Here is what we found.

Diner: 53 Super Wasp driven by Daniel Sterns Character also 54 Hornet in street scene.

Superman Tv show from 50's Season 2, 1950 Hudson Commodore on highway.

Devil in a Blue Dress: 46 Hudson Super Six on street and in one driving scene

LA Confidential: 53 SuperJet outside police building

Notebook: Rachel McAdams drives a 46 Commodore

A Beautiful Mind: 1950 Pacemaker

The Demolitionist: Has a 54 Hudson Hornet Police Car

Vertigo: Hudson Hornet parked on street

Thats all I can think of for now. Good topic and welcome to Hudson Motorcar.

Sean

Here are some more movies that have Hudsons in them and that are coming out soon

Fido the story of a kid and his pet Zombie filmed in BC stars a 1950 Hudson that is in our gallery. Go ahead and take a look.

Hollywoodland Starring Ben Affleck and Andrian Brody. Tells the story of George Reeves TV's Superman in the 1950's and how he died mysteriously. Brody's character drives a 53 Hudson Hornet and there is also a 54 Hudson Superjet in there as well.

Audry Hepburn Story, staring Jennifer Love-Hewitt - Quick side shot of a dark red step down.

BTW, the wife was watching this and called me in to see the old cars. That's how I spotted this. Not an AH fan.

Just got the lastest Kirk Alyn Superman DVD of the old movie serial. Lots of shots of a 46 Hudson Super Six on the street. My daughter spotted that one.

Ah, the apple of your eye has an eye for Hudsons. What a kid! I'd like to see FIDO. A movie about a kid with a Zombie for a pet sounds kind of appealing. I bet the zombie is old, drives a Hudson and is on the Net? Twisted Evil

I'm with Dave, a kid, pet zombie, and a hudson, does a great movie make!

Anyway, you guys are forgetting about:

Porky's (I think all three of them) (features a 52 hornet 4 door)

The Notebook (features a 46-7 coupe)

Cindi Lauper had a video that had a 55 hash in it

Laverne and Shirley drove a 52 wasp convertible

Gotta love that story line! Can't remember if Porky's car a 52 or 53, but it sure was pink alright. Leave it to Cindy to do a vid with a Hash in it. I thought Squiggy drove the convert in the Laverne and Shirley shitcom.

Watched the overhaulin of Leno's pals 56 Nomad. They did some scenes at Leno's Big Dog garage you could see the green Hornet sedan in a lot of shots. Warmed my heart to see that but hey we know Jay is a big Hudson fan....

Cyndi Lauper also did a video with a Hudson pickup truck in it....that lady has taste...

She looks great. Man, what modern science can do. Has anyone seen a recent pic of Rachel Welch? She's like 60 and is still a dish.
