What is everyone paying for regular grade gasoline?

Outside of Chicago, we're are at $3.30 per gallon in northern Illinois.

Its $4.32 a gallon here in Edmonton.

Not really, but that's what they want us to think. Americans and Canadians are a resouceful crowd. We've been through worse and we'll get through this too. OPEC can go pound sand before I'll let them rule my life. Years ago, I bought a 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham which I still have. The longest production car ever made in America and it averages 24mpg! Ha Ha OPEC...enjoy the ride...you'll all be living in tents again soon.

In Sweden the price is about 7.50dollar/gallon.In Europe the diesel is nr one.But in Sweden the tax is too high for diesel so the most common is regular petrol.

Yes in Brazil its about $5 a gallon and ethanol is cheaper. When I was home if Ireland a while back the gallon was about $5.80 so the days of cheap NA gas are over.

WOW! $7.50 a gallon in Sweden. How do people there afford to drive? Smaller, more fuel efficeint cars?

It's amazing that gas is $5.00 in Brazil, especially since Venezuela is such a big producer in South America.

Maybe Ireland should make fuel from taters. After all, they're used to make some very powerful moonshine here. Come to think of it, maybe we should make fuel from taters too.

Although I don't like what's happening, I'll deal with. I'll drive less and when I have to drive, I'll drive slower to conserve fuel or take my 24 mpg Cadillac. For business, I'll just pass the cost on to the customer. No more just running to the store for one item. Ah, that's a waste of time anyway.

I view OPEC as running scared. Sure, even with less consumption, they'll still make the same money as the prices go up. Once the dino juice is gone, they'd better have invested their ill gotten gains wisely or they'll be living in tents again. Since the use of planes, trains, cars, trucks, ag equipment and so much more is dependent on oil, the whole world economy will crawl. Since the Arab oil producers rely on the rest of the world they're screwing on oil prices for food and other goods, they're going to get screwed in return. Hopefully, this never ending upward spiral in the price of oil will prompt our countries to develope alternatives.

PetroBras just found a oil field off the coast of Rio that has more oil in it than the whole of the middle east. South American countries like Brazil do not buy oil off of neighbors. They do buy Natural gas. And yes Venezuela gas is about 10 cents a gallon.

The billions spent in pulling in these dirty energy products could easily be used to produced alternatives.

For over 100 years, oil was the only game. Now choices are becoming available. However, the cheapest source o fuel/energy will win out. I think it would be hilarious if the jump in gasoline prices pisses people off to the point where say enough is enough. Electric cars, here we come.

Wooo Hooo...the price of regular gasoline today was $1.75 a gallon! It's fallen .15 cents a gallon since last week. How low will it go? If modern gas would keep, I'd buy a tanker full and hide it behind my barn. Guess that won't happen since the cost to treat a tanker full of gas with Stabil would be more than the cost of the gas. Shocked

Whoa, $2.50 a gallon! I'll have to use an electric car when I'm on secret missions in Canada. At this rate, gas here will be around $1.00 per gallon by year's end.
