* You were dazzled by the light interior color.
* Your TV was out of wack.
* Your eyes were out of wack.
* You forgot to remove your 3D glasses.
* We secretly recolor cars in movies for the Canadian market.

Yup but I am thinking they would be dinged up quite a bit. That side impact must have hurt. If that Ford next to it hit it that car weighed more than the Hudson. Multiply that by velocity and you got a bad scene. The side frame on the Hudson took that hit nicely.

Doesn't look like anyone hit the glass and the steering wheel seems to be OK. They probably got shaken, not stirred. The cars didn't catch fire either. I guess the sheet metal really was thicker back then.
