I would jump on this one quickly as the seller is threatening to fix it himself and get 24K for it like he saw someone else do on eBay. Of course that guy had a beautiful truck unlike this kludge with some crap engine in it.

Junk yard engine, missing parts, velour interior, snot rag on floor, wrapped steering wheel, doesn't run, can't be driven...how lovely. Oooh, he'll fix it like the one that sold on eBay for 24k. Does this idiot think that statement is going to influence a buyer's decision to purchase?

I will give him 24K as soon as he does a frame up resto with all NOS parts and at the quality of the other truck on eBay. Absolutely clueless. oooh scary I have to buy now he might work on it himself. To get to the condition of the canopy truck this guy would have to spend 24K.

He'd have to spend at least 24k to get to the level of the other truck. This is yet another example of a seller thinking that just because he has the same old vehicle, his is, or will easily be, worth as much.

| Sounds like the guy who prices his #4-#5 rustbucket car by watching Barett-Jackson.

In his mind this one is worth 15K + and he knows that is a bargain to us as one sold for 24K don't you see the logic.

Unless someone has a pile of parts to replace those which are missing or incorrect, this vehicle will be a money pit. That is unless some like-minded person buys it and completes the jazzed up work and uses it as a driver.

| Hmm, I have a 51 Mercury pickup truck with a running flathead v8. Maybe I should put it on ebay....might get $15,000 for it!! I would trade it for a Hudson pickup BTW.

The advantage is that at least your Merc runs.

He said he was only going to list it once then redo himself and sell for 24K. Well, here is back again.

I sent the question "I thought you were going to fix it and sell it for $24K? change your mind?"
I wonder what his reply will be? (Btw, he'd better jump if it gets to $6K)
