| furthest was 1000 mi roundtrip to the waterbury ct national in the 90's left a red stripe the whole way from a bad front hydramatic seal. the 2008 national will be about 1400 roundtrip.

| i tried, but you just don't get the usual thumbs up and waves doing 70 going southbound on the northbound side. if they were a little friendlier about my navigational system i may not have bothered wrestling that beast out of the car to fix the seal.

Your right, the thumbs up turn into certain fingers up and the waves into threatending hand gestures. Oh, well, at least you fixed the leak and all is well. Beats the heck out of hanging a roasting pan below the trans.
