Ad says beautifully restored 52 Hornet sedan. Ok so half of the trim is missing and the interior is something only the owner could love. But is restored.

Come and listen to a story of a man named Jed, a poor mountaineer who fell and hit his head, then one day after shooting up some smack, he went and restored the Hudson out back... Yee Haw! Comparatively speaking, I'd rather have the 1969 Marquis.

Come on, the cars are parked in the yard and look at the shacks they call houses. Would you expect someone from these circumstances to do a 100 point restoration? Or, maybe he meant the car was stored and now it's re stored.

Yes I expect 100 points doesn't matter where you do it as long as you do it right....

Personally, I think repairs and repainting of the shack should have been a priority...unless they live in the car.

Just took a look at the new pics he posted of the engine and trunk look at the overspray all over the engine compartment that looks so poor.

As I suspected, this is yet another cobbled turd that someone (if there is a real buyer bidding, which I doubt) is going to get hosed on. In addition to the paint overspray fiasco, it looks like he forgot to spray over the rust at the bottom right hand side of the tunk lip. Shill bid to death up to $8,100.00, all by the same bidders with 0 to 1 feedback. I still say take the 69 Marquis.

I am wondering what is wrong with that head it looks a little thin to me. If I was buying a car and lifted the hood and found overspray every where I would be a little upset....

From the pictures, the paint work actually doesn't look too bad. That's were it ends. How much more could it have taken to install the side trim, hubcaps and tidy up the engine compartment? In addition to questions regarding condition, the bid history is very concerning. Winning bid is $11,900.00. Come on now...what's the game?

Thats why I hate eBay for these types of things. Too many questionable sales and no process to deal with them.
