Mine, but not 'home' yet... Is in TX, waiting for transport (already arranged):
This was a 'transition' year for Hudson, and the first year that their trucks 'dropped' the Terraplane name. There is a lot of discussion as far as what models were actually produced, but all that can be verified are the 90 (112") & 98 (Big Boy) series, although there are rumors & at least one picture of a 92 series (Pacemaker) truck out there, somewhere - Possibly a prototype.
They only made a total of approximately 650 trucks this year - someone has an exact figure - I am sure, so this is a RARE beast indeed...
It's in pretty rough shape, and there is sunlight coming through the bottom of the doors. The grille is in pieces, there are holes in the floor of the cab (what there is of the floor...), etc...

are you going to body off this truck and have the body and all parts completely media blasted. I am looking for a 54 Hornet for a project since my 51 is a sweet driver. I am thinking if the car I get is a restore project I am going to strip it to the metal and start again from scratch. Interested to see what other folks think. And what results they get.

Probably will have to, don't see any other way. This truck is second in line, with my other '46 being first. I'll be 'gathering' parts-n-pieces, so that once it gets going, I won't have to stop and wait...
