Yep, another 1946 - See my posting on my most recent acquisition -
This is a '40 footer' - No, not even a 20'... Has had some previous work done, not much of it good. This picture was taken at a heavy equipment dealer in CT, where I bought it. These pictures are old - after they were taken, the truck sat outside for at least a year or so. Has huge cracks in the paint & 'yellowish brown' spots coming up through as well, an indication that it is rusting from beneath. There are even pieces of 2x4 wood, acting as a 'spacer' for the homemade running boards.
The good? - It appears to be mostly 'there', and in really good shape, considering it's age...

I want a Hudson Pickup. So I am keeping my eyes and ears open plus taking in all the info you and Warren are posting. Looks like a great project. Love the front grill on these and the lines of the box are classic.
