Just when I think the time has come, the weather gets warm and sunny. So, the Hudson is not ready for nap-time yet.
I don't know about Sean's car, but I hear he has been busy putting up storm windows, chopping firewood, raking leaves, enjoying walks in the forest, watching sunsets and cleaning the buckets and taps for Maples sap collection.

My car is still in the garage I will be putting it into storage in November.
And yes Dave I am doing all the things you listed but you forget whistling while I walked or singing as I watch the sunset.

Has it gotten cold up north yet?
And swearing while you install, chop and clean.

Admit it, you like driving through leaves after people spent hours raking them into tidy piles.

Years ago, it was common for people living in cities/towns to rake the leaves into the street and burn them. After the EPA got involved, people would have to bag them or mound the leaves in the street for pick-up. Anyway, I remember hearing a story about some kids driving through leaves people had mounded in the street for pick-up. Sadly, a kid was playing in one of the piles of leaves...ooops.

I never allow my car to participate in carnage. Leaf stomping yes...anything else is below the dignified image we like to project.

Oh, sure. While you're sitting at your desk, god knows what that Hornet of yours is up to. It's probably out on patrol right now, stinger ready for action.

Well I know it patrols the neighborhood at night thats a given.....I sometimes hear it roll out of the garage late at night then fire up the engine and off it goes. Ever since I got it that siren from eBay it thinks its a cop car.

Mid 80s yesterday, about the same today, and again tomorrow. Blue skies, light on-shore breeze. Friday morning it was cool enough to need a long sleeved t-shirt at 70MPH on the bike. Had a light sprinkle of rain Saturday and again on Sunday, the first in a few weeks. The grass and leaves are green, the palm fronds are green, the flowers are a multitude of colours, the Red Grapefruit should be ripe in a month or so. Gotta start thinking about the Christmas and New Year cookouts and picnics, the snowbird carshows, the start of the new racing season over at the track... Winter is coming!
Cars and Bikes are a 12 month event here. I remember that 5 month motorcycle season and 6 month antique car season up in the Great White North.... I don't miss it!
