Here we have another 1939 Hudson Coupe. This one has skirts but to me the body does not look as straight as the 39 coupe that was on ebay a couple of weeks ago. I love the ad when have you seen another 39 coupe, well now that you ask about 2 weeks ago on ebay. Did not sell.
BIN looks ok to me. The paint is substandard. Look at the flaking on firewall was not prepped properly. Whats with the tac on the steering wheel? The shifter was on the steering column in 39 so the floor shifter must have been added.

YUK to the color and bland interior! Years ago, someone doing a psychology of color study determined that yellow was most favored by insane people. What's with the bird hood ornament?

Giving other motorists "The Bird" could cause trouble. Must have been an after maket thing.

Auction was pulled I hate when that happens on ebay. Obviously ebay doesn't understand the concept of an auction. See how fast they complain if you pull a bid....

When will it go away? Or maybe I should ask, is it here to stay or will it disappear before the auction ends again? Is the passenger side wiper missing or was there only one on the driver's side?

Relisted again with a BIN of 15K which I think is ok for this car its in nice shape and a nice repaint and you have a nice rare coupe with skirts.

Just when I was about ready to use the T word, you throw in the part about skirts. I'm not a fan of yellow, but one must admit this car jumps out at you.

I, personally, like the oddball/out of the norm cars. Give me a Hudson, Kaiser, Met, Franklin, Stanley, Frazer, 3 wheeled Morgan...ect...ect....anyday over the Big 3. Those are the cars that catch my eye at a show.
Saw a 2dr. Frontenac in baby blue with thin red pinstriping that said at the taillights, "Canadian, Eh" caught my eye right away. That and an old REO were the rarest (and best in my eyes) at the show.

Relisted with a BIN of 13K which is a great price for this car. I think the owners of these earlier cars are coming to the conclusion that they will not get high money for one of these. Sad but a reality.

It's a funny looking, squat little bugger. I think a dark color would look more appropriate.

Anything would be fine as long as you change the color.

Thats a nice car and pretty rare. Does not need rodding. Changing colour is pretty easy and the price for a car in this condition is great. Better get it now while the getting is good.
