Offering this one up for discussion. Looks to me like someone took a coupe and tried to make a Mercury out of it. That rear fender work in not my idea of a good custom.

| "Dummy" spots...I wonder if the skirts are dummy too. Chuck the lakes pipes and skirts and it's not a bad car.

| hmmm, guess I won't post my 49 coupe if and when I get done with it. I like this car. I've always considered chopped and lowered mercs , Hudson wanna be's. This car would get a lot of attention at a car show. But then I'm lookin for an old model A for a true rat rod so what do I know?

Ah, come on. What appears as nastiness is just poking some fun. Car guys love cars, regardless of what they are. Better to save a car and rod it than let it rust away of get crushed. BTW, the car in your avatar is beautiful. Do you have any larger pics of it?

I saw that car on Thursday over at Jim's place and can say its a really nice car. Looks good and when Jim gets tired of it he is going to give it to me...

| Its a cream color and then I told my painter I wanted the color of coffee with cream in it for the darker color...pretty hi tech eh?

You could have lied and said they were custom Hudson colors like Mocha Chocha Latta Yia Ya and Creme de la Creme.
