This one was being sold by the same company last time. I remember it sold so I wonder what is going on.

Some nice things are the engine has been upgraded to a 262 with Twin-H and the tranny is a later model as well. The underside looks good as the former owner seems to have actually done a frame off on this one. With that engine combo it would be a super nice driver I think.

Looks like a nice car, but not my cup-o-tea.

Well, I am now scratching my head on this one. They have obviously buffed the paint on this one and added mag wheels. Don't know what the heck tack they are taking now. Guess this is one of the reasons sofa stores shouldn't sell cars. This is the fifth time they have tried to sell this car. Looking at all the 40's and 41's that have been up for sale they do not sell. Don't know why but they don't.

Are you sure this is the same car? License plate on opposite side, wipers are all goofy, and the color appears much darker. Maybe it is...just noticed that the dented running board on passener side matches.

Also Watson if you will cast your eyes to the license plate the number is the same in both ads plus the Colour difference is due to pictures taken at a different time of day. The interior and motor are identical in both ads.

Sherlock,

Watson can read on angles and didn't bother to use link to see the whole auction. As far as the drastic color shift, I say we consult Scotland yard.

Well its back again and the ad states it has been recently painted. Still these models never go over 10K and I know this guy probably wants 15K he will never get it. Putting mags on won't help either.

Scotland Yard here....

indeed, this car has been repainted. It is in fact the same car. I came to this conclusion by checking the VIN number on both eBay kistings, and they both coorespond.

Also, Scotland yard believes that 40 and 41's are just missing something, that push them over the edge, for general appeal.

Too bad. looks like a decent car, maybe 8-10 is about best price for this one.

Here we go: Rolling Eyes

Are those slip covers on the seats?
Step down steering wheel...
Starter relay on engine block...should get nice and hot there.
Ratty wiring repaired with tape and butt connectors.
Rubber gas filler neck in trunk collapsed.
Dash gauges...YUK!
Could the rear bumper be any further from the body?

Photo of throw pillow in the back seat...why?

Back for what I think is its 9th time on ebay. Do you think this guy will ever learn. First he tries to sell with stock wheels on then he puts on mags then he paints the car and still it does not sell. But hey 9th time lucky.

You know what they say in Ohio..."The twenty-third time is a charm." Maybe in the next incarnation it will become a convertible. Rolling Eyes

Back again for the 10th time with a BIN of $12,495 and I still don't think this car will sell. At least the seller is coming to his senses on the price but for over 12k it should be pristine.

Does eBay have a policy that allows you to keep the car listed until it sells?
