I prefer the 2 ton myself it gives you the extra lifting you might need.

Also for engine stand to not get one of those cheapo models it will not hold a Hudson straight six. You need one of the models where the legs at the sides like this one. www.kmstools.com/otc-1...stand-3845

Those stands with the legs that form H will tip over sideways with a six on them. These stands are not setup for straight engines.

Also for you hoist get a load leveler like this www.kmstools.com/magnu...ller-11493 makes the job much easier.

Its a long engine to pull with tranny still attached the load leveler with let you tilt it to get it out. Also for ease pull the front clip it will make the job so much easier and you have to do it anyway to do the body work.
