Has anyone seen a spare tire cover used in a step down? Just wondering if anything like that was available from dealers. Even if not, I think I'm going to whip one up for my car. Cool

I don't have any info on the Hudson dealers doing this but I have seen owners do it. One guy I saw had bought a generic wheel cover and had sewn on one of the Hudson patches available to make it a Hudson accessory. Looked ok.

I didn't think spare tire covers were in vogue back then. I can make on but don't know if I'd go so far as to put a patch on it.

If I were to put a patch on the tire cover, it would have to be classy, befitting the marque, and of an appropriate color and scale. Anything less than that goes on the hole in my tool bag. BTW, have any patches that will work on my filthy, beat-up, old tool bag?

Oh, I'm crushed. I need one for my tool bag so stuff won't pop-out the bottom. If I don't get one soon, I'll have to design my own, maybe something with exhaust pipes (or maybe headers and flo-mashers) coming out the butt of an insect.
