Well, I'm in Fort McMurray Alberta Canada... freezing my a_s off. lol

Have a 51 and a 49 Hudson... both in pieces. A long road ahead for me, I'm afraid.

We have members from all over the world on here. France, Sweden, Finland, Germany, USA, Canada.

Yes I would like to see a more active board here as well. Members seem to only participate when they need a bit of help or info.

So lets get more activity on the board here. Sharing about your projects would be good.

20W-50 is a good oil to use in summer if you were driving in the cold 15W-40 but for your application for that engine I would run a 20W-50 in my normal driver Hornet here I run plain old Quaker State 10W-30 never had a problem I change it every 1000 miles and I am good to go.

Castrol 20W-50 over there should be fine for your application.

Also can you show me a pic of the side of your engine looking down into the car so I can see where the engine meets the oil pan.

I use a special non-alloy 20 W 50 Motoroil, which i bought at "wagner-spezialschmierstoffe" (Wagner Special-Lubricants) here in Germany. It's a special dealer for oils, greases and gas-additives for classiccars. Here is the link, i think they ship worldwide:
