| Hi, my name is Jim as you can gather. I live in Lethbridge,Ab. and I own 2 1954 hudsons. The one in my avatar is a wasp that I drive. I found her one day when I was browsing thru our local bargain paper, called the owner and went and had a look. The car was badly in need of paint but I was able to drive it from the prev. owners house a few blocks to a friend's service station and had him do a safety inspection. It needed a few light bulbs and some brake fluid but that was it. I've since had the car redone body and paint wise and a new interior. The car was one solid off white color and I didn't like that too much so decided to go with a 2 tone scheme and I think it turned out nice. The old girl turns a lot of heads when I drive it. The car has 99000 miles and the motor is untouched so far but she is starting to smoke a bit when cold. Just today I was doing some checking on the charging system and I think the gen. will need some brushes. I like Hudsons a lot, I think they were exceptional in their day and still are. The other 54 that I own is a hornet with the twin h set up and an automatic transmission. I wish it was a 4 speed but its not. Anyway its not running and my intentions for it are to do a custom of some kind. I am the one responsible for all of the custom cars appearing in the gallery and am using them for inspiration. Any how those are my cars and when and if I can figure out how to get the pics of them to load in the gallery I will do so...stay tuned...Jim p.s. the wasp drives amazingly well, almost like a modern car with the radial tires.
