You guys ever notice how your old car seems to "jog" stories out of people? Wherever I go, folks want to tell me about their memories.
Something about the ole '36.
Just took it around the block this afternoon and stopped at a gas station. A beautiful older woman (looked to be in her 80s or so) came up to me telling me about her brother who had a Terraplane in the late 30s "before the war". He joined the navy the day after Pearl Harbor. He never came home from a tour in the South Pacific on a submarine.
Letter from the government expained they had to make a dive faster than all the deck hands could get through the hatch. Japaneze planes were coming.
I get SO many neat stories from people. Somethin' about the '36...slim

Yes I have found this they call it the 30 min fill up. 5 mins to fill up 25 mins to answer questions and talk.
