OK, I ran into Linda Richmond (AKA Mike Meyers, A Canadian BTW), and she gave me the following topic for us to discuss amongst ourselves.
Is it true that cars with a positive ground electrical system suffer more from rust and radaitor clogging than those with a negative ground system? OK, discuss...

You know this is one of those things that is out there like one of those persistent tales. Some say fact some say fiction others say the effect is too small to be a contributing factor of great degree.
Those in favor state the theory would be:
if your car is positively grounded, the body of the car would have a minute positive charge, and this would cause the body of the car to attract the oxygen in the air. This would promote the corrosion of any exposed metal on the car. Now if the car was properly painted and undersealed this would be a negligible factor.
Those against state:
Body positively charged you say? what rot! positively charged in respect to what? the negative terminal of the battery. This is such a weak effect its not worth discussing. Keep your car painted and undersealed and go worry about something real like global warming or hair loss.
So its one of those arguments that is best settled by sending it off to Myth Busters.......

With all the negative (no pun intended) debate about it, isn't it amazing that so many positive ground cars are still around.

The fact that they are still around says quite a bit. A car exposed to corrosive elements will corrode, even without a battery in it. The effects may be greater, but once corrosion starts it's tough to stop either way.
I think I'll install a second battery with negative ground to reverse the adverse effects of the first battery. With a "nuetralized" car, I think i can repel the corrosion. I'll let you know how it works

Now that's the best suggestion I'v ever heard. But that brings up an interesting point. If your scientific study shows that you can, indeed, reduce the aging process on cars, maybe you could sell the the process to Ronco or other infomercial company for use on humans. I can see it now, commercials showing batteries being connected to aged Florida retirees who, magically before your eyes, transform into children. But wait, there's more, just think of those leftovers. After you rejuvinate the old folks, you can zap that month old pizza back to life. The possibilities are endless. We'll be waiting for those results.

If your looking for some entertaining reading, this one cracked me up when I first heard it. A true paradox...

I'll keep you posted as I destroy all of my electrical components for the betterment of mankind.

That was funny, but not as funny as your suggestion. At least after you destroy all of your electrical components, you know where to find help. But what will those experiments prove? Maybe the following:
1. The engine will crank and run backwards.
2. The clock will run backwards.
3. Heater will suction air out of car.
4. Combustion will occur inside of the distributor.
5. Generator will turn into a parasitic drain.
6. Applying the brakes will turn off brake lights.
7. Opening doors will turn off courtesy lights.
8. The radio will turn into a transmitter.
9. Operating the horns will turn them into microphones. Sounds will come
out of horn ring.
10. Cigar lighter will always be hot.
11. The entire car will run backwards, into the past.

I am making up a little pouch that contains witch hazel and rock salt plus some secret stuff. It has a small copper wire coming from it you attach this in a discrete location in your car where it can contact the body. It helps realign the chakra of your car thus warding off the evil rust devils....I can supply to you for $29.99 plus S&H. We have operators standing by if you act now we will throw in Yoga for my Car a ground breaking book by I.P. Nightly.

Sounds like you have the making of a TV infomercial mogul.
