Folks,

its official we now have a winner for the worst pictures ever to accompany an ebay ad. I cannot believe this pics. I thought I needed my eyes checked.

what's really sad, is the fact that even with the bad pictures, this car still looks pretty decent. I bet he would get twice what he ends up with, if he had decent pictures. At elast he recognizes in the ad that he is not a photographer...

Nah, I've seen worse. For example, ads with one picture the size of a stamp, pictures upside down and sideways. At least he knows which end is up. But, come on, dark plum exterior with green interior... Shocked

Better pictures would probably get the juices and bids flowing. He'll probably find out the hard way that you get out what you put in.

In 54 you saw some wild color combos coming out of Hudson as they tried to get rid of stuff. Red cars with blue interiors and the like.....

Are you trying to tell us that your 51 has blue interior? Is the plum color of this car original?

Checking my color chips for 54 plum was not a Hudson color option. Closest would have been Toro red.

So, the plum color is WAY off. Is your car Toro red?

My car was repainted years ago and is a Ford red the old dude told me. I plan on repainting it back to Hudson sea foam green. But for now its a nice driver paint job so I don't worry much.

Sea foam, see foam run. Now that's a wild color. What color is your interior? Will you keep it or go fuscia?

My interior is Blue, the seats are half durafab and lower halves stripped wool its in almost perfect condition. When I go back to the light green it will all match perfectly again. But in 51 you could order Toro Red exterior and blue interior so I don't worry.

I knew you had blue interior. With the original color, it will make (better) sense.

16k and did not sell. I think 16K would have be a good deal for the seller of this car. He can put it on ebay all he wants and it will not do much more.

Everything considered, I think 16k was more than fair for this car! I wonder if the second chance offers are going out as we speak.
