Im looking for a good set of hornet front hubs. ~1953

Im trying to upgrade my 53 wasp to hornet braking system up front, with larger wheel cylinders, the larger shoes and hubs? Has anyone had any luck doing this?

thanks for any input.

Yes this is a simple bolt in replacement. Get the front parts off of a Hornet and bolt them into your car.

You might give Stu Coleman in Montana a call he is probably the closest to you with parts he may have the hubs. The easiest is to remove everything down to your spindles then replace with everything off of a Hornet.

If Stu does not have them he will probable know someone who does.

Good to hear.....I placed an order with kanter and they sent me the wrong parts for upfront (hornet) so i figured i might as well try to make them work.

Do you know if i need to use the same year or will 50-54 hubs work? for my 53 wasp

Yeah avoid Kanter for Hudson stuff.

1. Overpriced
2. Send wrong stuff
3. You need to support Hudson vendors
4. Find them listed in links or ask me

Any hubs from 51-54 will work

Hey good news. New bearings and seals are easy to get when you rebuild them to install.
