Looks like a pretty nice car. These Super Wasps drive really nicely. Looks like a solid car. For around 10K you could not go wrong.

I `ve been actively looking for a Hudson and came across this ad in antique cars .com here is the link: AntiqueCar.com Classic Cars For Sale - Hudson : 1953 Hudson Super Wasp ad # 19449 I believe this car was sold in June out of Minn. for $7,500. or less. Look closely at the pics... seems this car was bought, cleaned up and put on ebay. Same mileage too. Anybody else seen this?

| Yes you are right that is the same car. Look at the reverse lights exact same location. $7500 is a good price for this car I wonder why it sold so low.

Yes same car after detailing. I think the ebay seller wants 15k so he is doubling his money with that flip. I too wonder why it was sold cheap maybe just a good deal as that car looks like a nice driver for $7500.

My guess is that the guy who bought is NOT an enthusiast. Just another investor looking to hedge at the collector/owners expense. OR there could be a problem with the car..... although I think it`s about making a buck. I race/collect Indian Motocycles and if I was to get started in it now, I couldn`t afford to do so.... such is the case for true enthusiasts.

Love Indian motorcyles what are you racing? what bikes do you have any pics?
Would love a 40's Scout or Chief. The problem is I do not have an arm and a leg to spare right now..LOL ..expensive even finding one to fix up is hard.
You are probably right a car flipper. Still if someone gets for under 15k if drivetrain ok they would still get a good car.

Hey,
since we`ve all come to the same conclusion that this seems to be the same car that was sold a month ago, I took the liberty of sending a question to the seller as to how long he has owned this vehicle. That was 4 days ago.... still no answer. Interesting.

Probably knows you have seen it before. A lot of these sellers do not realize that the Hudson community is small and we all track the same cars so probably know the car from before and know what you paid for it and what its worth.
You need to join the Hudson Essex Terraplane club they have a great magazine called the White Triangle News and it has a for sale section at the back and its here you will find the best cars for the best prices and I use that a lot searching for cars. I would much prefer to buy from there than ebay.

12 hrs. before the end, he put a BIN of $14,000. You were right, this wanker just wanted to double his money and get out....
The bidding just ended.. 27 bids, 12,499.00 reserve not met...

He will be keeping that car if he does not take a reasonable offer. I think 10K is a good price. He will post again and he will get less bids. Happens all the time. Unless he sells it privately. Sad thing is it looks like a good car.

Your right! Maybe this wanker will stay away from Hudson`s and drive up the price of Model A`s instead......

Offer him 10K your final offer and see what he says. That is a good price for a Wasp.

As predicted he posted it again and it only got to $9600 this time. Last time it got over $12K. If he posts this again it will do less it will get eBay post rot. People stop bidding. He should have taken the 12K bid as that was fair price.
