Hey Mike,
New guy here. Just wanted to say congrats on your purchase. I raced at Pukekohe in 2001 on an old Indian..... let us know what kind of times you can turn with that coupe at Puke, lol Seriously, look up my mate Paul Hanes in Horitu, (Hanes Engineering and lift trucks) he is a wizard with old machinery. Good on you mate! Cheers, Art
Hi, nice to hear from you, are you a Kiwi living Stateside or did you just come here to race? Puke was my favourite track and I held the 600 lap record there and the Baypark circuit in Tauranga, that one I still have as the track is now a retirement village so its safe for now. I have a few mates who race classics including old Harley's etc. I visited a guy in Ngarawhahia a few months ago that has a huge collection of Indians, he is a Dutch guy and I have never seen so many Indian frames, seats, engines, magnetos in one place, I think he had about 6 complete bikes. I still have a CBX Honda 6, CB1100R Honda and an H2 750 Kawasaki.
Do you have a Hudson yourself?
Cheers Mike.

Hi Mike,
No, I was the only American to race an Indian at the Centenial at Puke in 2001. Spent 2 weeks there and I might say that you Kiwi`s are truly blessed, beautiful country and I now have friends for life. Stayed with my mate Paul and his family in Horitu and travelled up to Lake Taupo region and the like. I`m working on getting into my 1st Hudson, something original like your find. I will be selling a 32 Ford 3 window coupe to find it. If you like E mail me at: Indianracing12 @ aol.com I can send along some pics. Best of luck with your find! Cheers, Art
