I have a 56 dodge that has the power steering pump on the back end of the generator and was wondering if that setup could be adapted to a hudson. The steering box would have to be adapted as well. any ideas? Rolling Eyes

Depends on how much work you want to do. You would need to see if that setup would fit the Hudson's steering setup. I think you might end up modifying the pitman arm to get that installed. If you could find the power steering unit off a 54 Hudson and use the pump off the dodge you might have less of a problem. Though you may find the Hudson and Dodge units are made by the same manufacturer. I will look through my interchange CD and see if they have any info.

I think you are right about the steering box..be a whole lot easier to fit a Hudson one.
