I like to watch eBay for parts for my hudson. But since my young broke a$$ can't afford to bid on any of the parts, I'm more like a window shopper. I check it once every few days.
Anyway, what I really like, are those hot asian girls you see in all of these fast and furious videos.
I guess that's my fetish....
My name is hudsonkid, I'm a mac user.

Sorry to hear that your hinny is broke. I wish it a speedy recovery. Sell some of those pens and you'll be able to shop, shop, shop! I wouldn't worry about missing anything on ebay, something similar to (or better than) what you want will show up again and again.
Honorable hudsonkid, as far as the Asian girls are concerned, have you considered a trip to Thailand?

I check ebay every four minutes. Been hooked into the web since my Uni days of course that predates the WWW I mean the old Darpa net we used to use to talk between schools.
Now I have a 24 inch Plasma screen that toggles between the 4 boxes in my office and my two laptops. I stream the data constantly sifting though the information looking for patterns. I must have the lastest Hudson item and I only bid in the last 14 seconds as I am an ebay sniper....

I hope your kidding there 51Hornet....
My best eBay snipe was buying th upper part fo a Supermatic drive for my 50. It was on for about $15 and I really didn't want it, but I threw in a $25 bid on the last second, just trying to see how close I could snipe it.
I got it, shipped it to my house, and never even opened it. I think I spent about $30 total plus shipping which seems real cheap, considering how heavy it is.
And the fact of the matter is, the car will never be drivemaster/supermatic, while I own it....

If you don't want/need those unused Drivemaster and Supermatic parts, send them here. I promise to love them. But why wouldn't you want to restore this system? Just think of all the fun you can have while driving around and watching the shift lever and clutch pedal move on their own...weeeeeeee.

Keep telling yourself that while you pack the boxes you're sending to me.
Speaking of the oil filter and the steel lines, all the rant about new motor oils is BS. All modern oils have sufficient anti-wear additives. If they didn't engines seizing would be the order of the day. It's just common sense. But, if you're going to run the same oil in your engine until it (the oil) breaks down to the point you have metal to metal contact, better go with something like Kendall GT-1, Castrol GTX or any Valvoline product. They have a tad more zinc in them. As you already know, modern oils are slim on zinc as an excess of it can damage catalytic converters.

Man, that oil additive BS comes around every so often. I blame it on the full moon and its like Big Foot sightings people swear they have seen him up there in the woods. I can lay down a hundred articles on this.
And lets take it from the oil companies point of view how long do you sell a motor oil brand if every engine that runs it craps out after 900 miles. Its flat out a pile of BS but its trotted out like spring fashions every year and dusted off. I have run Quaker State since I was 16 why? my Dad said pump it out of the 50 gal drum in the shop we change oil every 2500 miles and thats all there is to it. Now I find out QS has zero ash the formulation does not produce it so it runs clean. Good enough for me haven't had an engine fail yet. Pick your flavor and change it often. Cheaper than replacing the engine.

I rode in some kid's 911. It was a raspberry metallic. I think it was like an 84-86. Really clean, sweet car, but unimpressive. It was in terrific shape. I had my 95 nitro yellow green neon ACR at the time, and told him that I would take it. He didn't believe me, nor did he want to race to prove me wrong.
I would have ran away and hid from his POR SCHE (it's two syllables, I know, I rode in one)

I tried to sit in one, but my knees hit the bottom of the dash board. Definitely not a car for a manly man. Even if I could have fit, the interior smelled like a horse stable. Must have been the fine leather seats.
You know, NE ON has two two syllables too.
