Hey Roland, nice to see you back here.
Love that garage. Is that a lake behind it? if so remember to point the Hudson towards the lake so it can have a nice view....

There is a company that makes signs like that I think they are around $600 I will look up.

Roland,
Some people may think that winter is not the best time to build a garage, but why waste nice weather erecting a building when you can be driving.
Tell us more about the new garage.

Roland,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Sean and all the great people here. Skol and Cheers.
That's one big slab of concrete, but mine's bigger.
Sean, did you just realize that you live in the frozen tundra? How do you cope with -30 degree temperatures?

You stay indoors a lot. And you make sure your company works in South America where at this time of the year its 40C above. When I leave Canada at this time of year when its cold I drive to airport with my wife she takes my jacket. I wear hiking pants that the legs come off so I am in shorts when I get to Brazil I remove the legs before we land. When I get outside its like getting hit with a baseball bat. Takes me a couple of days to get used to the heat.
Of course I come back and I cannot stay warm for first week back I wear 8 layers of clothes and always feel cold. What a life.
And a Merry Christmas to you as well.....

No snow yet but it will come
I make time go faster by visiting rockabilly clubs
Today its the darkets day of the year so now its going to be lighter every day, just minutes in the beginning but...

Sean,
You stay indoors and do what? Oh, I know, stoke the fire, plug drafts in the house, thaw frozen pipes, shop the internet for a second home in the desert. Does that sound right?
Right now, it's 4 degree here, and that's without the wind chill. Probably sounds balmy to you.
With that being said, you need to stop talking about Brazil, you're making me even colder. I could adjust to going from cold to warm, but I agree coming back from Brazil must be a real "thermal" shock.
Roland,
I bet you're a fan of the Stray Cats. Have fun, but don't drink too much at the rockabilly club, the garage will come out crooked.
