I am starting this thread to post what I consider just plain crazy eBay ads. Its not for Hudson stuff so keep that in the other threads its for Bat Shit crazy ads you see and shake your head and go huh?
First up we have this Buick Woody. The seller has a BIN of 100K the only problem is he forgot to restore the car for that price.
I love Woodies but this is one ugly car.

Up second and staying in Buick country.
I took the car apart and sold it on eBay!! WTF how can that be a solid plan. From look of body would have been a nice project car.
By the way I really like the 38-42 Buick coupes and you can pick them up cheap so when I see a good one I like and I have cleared up my Hudson projects I will be getting one.

I've heard that the Buick Woodie is a fixture on eBay. Whooptie do, the car has 6k original miles. If the car had been properly maintained or restored, it probably would fetch the asking price at BJ. Now, it's just another tired old car. I'd like to see someone drive this car. You'd probably need a fluid tanker to follow you down the road to replenish fluids as quickly as they're pumped out and a HazMat crew to clean up the Exxon Valdez redux.
I like the lack of logic on the 41. Rather than selling a complete car that was restored, but now needs paint and some engine work, you sell it piece by piece and get stuck with the carcass.
Personally, I like the later 40's Buick sedanettes and convertibles.

The Woody guy is crazy. Fully restored the car might be worth 100K but sitting like this!!! crazy crap.....
Always had a thing for these coupes. When I was a kid this is the car I really wanted with the Dynaflash eight. Nice thing is they are still out there in nice shape for low dollars so I can get me a business coupe and hit the road with Clyde and Barney.....

Yes, the Woody will be in that garage for another 50 years.
Up until 1976, Buicks were good cars. So, you have plenty of years to select from. Clyde and Barney would be more likely to react positively to a 40's era car.

Yup. Someone needs to relieve him of that car.

So, when will you be opening your Epay store? Better do it before the weight of all that Hudson stuff causes your house to collapse. I can see the headlines now..."House collapses and buries owner under tons of Hudson memorabilia."

My wife laughs when I tell her this stuff she asks when my next trip is and how do you use eBay.
Since I will be reopening the Hudson Motorcar Company I need this stuff for the library.

Is the wife going to be using eBay to buy or sell while you're away?
At the rate the existing car manufacturer's are going, they'll be gone soon if they don't get some moola. You could probably whip out your charge card and buy Chrysler for pennies on the million. Then, retool the plants to build modern Step Downs. I volunteer to tour the world to spread the word about the importance of stepping up to a Step Down.

She says she will be selling everything so I need to be careful and always tell her the stuff is worth nothing.....

Uh, yeah, let me know when you're leaving town. BTW, what time of day is your wife usually at home? Oh, and ask her how she feels about out of country checks.

Every time I see this ad I just start laughing
This guy wants $990 for the roll cabinet that you usually find under a scope or distributor tester. The complete scope and cabinets usually go for less than this guy wants for this. He has listed it many times and does not seem to have clued into the fact no one will buy it.
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...ht_500wt_0

Case in point here is a scope and cabinet for $500

Obviously, the guy with the cabinet doesn't want to do a little homeowrk to find the value of what he has. Who knows, maybe his cabinet was owned by someone famous and is worth more.
