Not bad but it looks like it needs work to bring it up to snuff. Interior has fit problems. Still for the right price.

Factory Twin-H? The top of the engine is red and there's no Twin-H badge on trunk. The huge clamp around each air cleaner may suggest that the original points of attachment are gone. Look at the honkin' rubber fuel line...vapor lock problem perhaps? The ground attached to the head and 8v battery may suggest a starting problem. The color and quality of the interior are poor. No white walls on the rear? Still, it's far better off than many we see for sale.

True, but I'd have to tackle the interior first. It's just...

Luckily the interior is just awful seat covers. Pull those and even an old blanket is better.

Not all of it. Look at the door panels... This car needs some luvin'. A nice stiped tan fabric would work much better.

And its back. 28 bids before and only reached $6900 he needs to take that into consideration this time around.

Yes, and everything said before still applies. Is that a bungie cord I see in the trunk? If that's his latch, it's mighty sad. Let's play the "How many colors can you find on the interior" game. What would you say, about $4,000.00 for a professional interior? It might have been a fair buy at $6,900.00, but I'm not feeling the love being exuded from this one.

I kind of hate it when you see shoddy work. A big peeve of mine is people who stick screws through the door panels because the backing cardboard has broken down. Take it apart replace the backing and use new clips. Its what I did took me a day to do all four doors. Had to be careful when removing the interior from the panel. Then reglue it and use new clips. Everything looks top notch.
I see a crap interior job I look else where, can really sink a sale. Nice exterior and then the interior looks like it was done by a duc tape specialist.

Me too. Fixing door panels on pre 70's cars is a snap. When making repairs on door panels from the early 70's and on, you have to become an expert at welding plastic and the use of expandable foam caulk to reinforce what you've repaired.
Like most, I place a higher value on a car, especially a Hudson, that doesn't have serious rust. When I see that common sense things have been neglected or repairs made are sloppy, I worry that more important items (like the engine, trans, and suspension) have been sorely neglected or rigged.
In the case of this car, I would have throw several hundred into two WWLs for the rear, a new truck latch and a few cans of interior spray dye and engine paint. I'd rather present the product in the best light as opposed to getting nickled and dimed over this stuff.

I would say 7K is more appropriate given that interior.

That and the fact that so much remains unknown, I have to agree. Amongst other things, the red engine suggests that this would not be for someone looking for numbers matching car.
