Has anyone tried using newer carbs on a Twin H setup. I know the Carter carbs are good, but the newer carbs such as Webers have better air flow.

Just wondering if anyone has tried out different carbs.

Do the Carters share a flange pattern with anything?

Not that I have seen. But I have now seen guys who have machined adapters to put different carbs on the Twin H manifold. I would love to see a aluminum version of the Twin Carb setup. Clifford made an aluminum 4 barrel manifold for Hudson I wonder why he did not make the twin carb. The one thing about the cast manifold is its heavy.
