Hi Guys,
Can anyone suggest the best place to get a fuel pump kit for my 53 Super Wasp, it is a dual vac on top and fuel underneath, I dont see any numbers on it. When I took it off it had about 5 gaskets on the flange, seems strange, do you think it has been done to get the lever arm in the right position? Has anyone else come across this? Will probably get carb kits at same time, the carbs are 2 X Carter WA 1's. I also have a set of the later 56 Carter WA 1's as well with the oil pot set up. Any thoughts on if I would be better to use these or the earlier ones. Thanks Mike.

Yes those gaskets are for spacing and heat dissipation they are standard on Hudsons.
Dave Kostansek sells these kits. You can get both the carb and fuel pump kits. His number is 440-293-4079.
email is HETdavekostansek @ hotmail.com remove the HET before mailing.

| Thanks Sean, any thoughts on weather or not to use earlier or later carbs.

I use the earlier carbs on all of my Hudsons and they work well. I do not have any of the newer carbs. Carter made nice carbs so I am sure they would be fine and the Jetting and internals are probably close anyway.
