I am hoping that the members of this forum could possibly help me determine a fair value for this car. I will likely be listing it on ebay for the current owner. If anyone is interested in seeing this car and/or making an offer please do!
Thanks,

Jason,
you are looking at between 20-30K you will not get higher for this car. To get higher you would have to fix some stuff. To take this to Hudson stock you would need to complete the graining on the door moldings, the headliner is the wrong material for a 51. Windshield you know about. The windlacing around the door is incorrect. The ^ on the hood ornament should be gold plated not chrome. Firewall should be body colour. Your taillights have the black Commodore emblem on them instead of the red Hornet emblem. The trunk Hudson reflector should be red instead of the faded silver. Sounds like nitpicking but thats what I get asked for when I help people find Hudsons. This car looks like the owner stopped short of finishing it and it would present better with wide white walls. Hornet was a top of the line model.
My friend just sold a 51 coupe and it was far better than this car (same Toro red) for $25,000 and he had it for sale for 6 months. He did a full resto and it was pristine. He did not make back the money he had in it. Seeing more of that these days.
Still the right buyer will get you in the high 20K
If you get offers over 20K take them. Its a nice coupe but to get over 30K that car would have to be factory perfect and this is not.

I like it too. I would get wide white walls on it and clean up the items. Probably do it all for under 3K and have a really nice car to drive around in.
Of course I am biased I love 51 Hornets.
