Folks,

todays question is about outside Sun Visors on your Hudson. Do you love em or hate em.? My feeling is if I bought a car that had one I would probably keep it but like my car that did not come with one I would never seek one out to put on.

I am ok with the look it extends the roof line and gives that classic 50's look and I am sure its practical after driving across Canada in my Hornet at certain times of the day in that low car you were blinded by the sun.

Opinions?

IMHO, they make a car look dumpy. But then again, to each his own. These things rattle and catch wind like a sail. No big old steel visor for me, thank you.

Once, I thought about doing window visors, gas tank and door handle guards. But after seeing Hudsons slathered with this stuff, I think I'll keep the look of my car clean and original. I have a set of NOS Unity fog and driving lights, one of which I may use. I'll stick with more low key Hudson options and accessories such as the tissue dispensor, traffic light viewer, compass, remote tire filler, vanity mirror, windshield washer, floor mats, hood, trunk and glove box lights that are on the car.

Oh, it's just chock full of accessories. Maybe I'll PM pics to you so the old peering eyes of the world can't see. Then, you can put them in the "Members Only/No Lurkers Allowed" section. When you come a stealin,' make sure you bring a BIG check, drawn on a US bank or a heapin' PILE of USC. Laughing

They are usually several visors on ebay at any given time.

If you keep looking, you'll see visors for Hudsons. If not, isn't modifying one easier than building one?

If you make it yourself, it will be custom and I like that price!
