Heck my parts car was better than the top one. Wasp is not bad needs the trim pulled and the retainers replaced. Maybe a lick of paint wouldn't hurt.

Your parts car was better becuase you're a smart shopper. Considering condition, I'd say $800.00 is high for the parts car.
The blue Wasp looks like it might have some filler in the bottom of the doors. Never seen a car that was designed to have skirts look good without them.
