Here is a nice example of a 37 Terraplane coupe. Engine upgrade is fine by me. Hudson used to sell upgrades for all of their cars. Few items I would fix. The engine would be painted the proper silver and I would woodgrain the dash like the factory did.
Other than that looks like a clean solid car. And yes for Dave I would get a set of skirts on it.

I bet this one will sell. It would probably sell better/easier if there were more detailed pics. I agree about the engine color and dash woodgraining. I'd be disappointed if skirts weren't included in the program.

Pretty easy fixes to make this a really nice car.
I like the fact he is standing behind the car you can drive and test and if not satisfied get a refund. Not a lot of sellers would do that.

And since it's had lots of work done, this is would be an easy project. This is more my speed these days. In addition to getting skirts and doing the engine and dash painting, I want a flying turd hood ornament. Refresh my memory, were Terrorplanes available as just one model or were there different trim levels?

There were different trim levels and options to be had. I think the flying carrot was different for 37 it had more wings I think. The 37 also had a chrome spear with a wing of red glass or lucite..

Gottcha. If I had a car like this, I'd want to draw attention to the cool grill with the biggest, most elaborate flying turd available. Did those suckers light up?

I think you could get a kit to make them light. I know the lucite wing lit up.

Ah, those were the days...when cars had a third brake light on the trunk (I think they were 40's era Chryslers) and illuminated hood ornaments. The last time we got close to superfluous exterior illumination like that was 1990's era opera lights on luxo-boats.

Face it those cars were rolling art pieces. Stuff now is huge yawn. Test drove a series 7 BMW the other day. Drove nice had all the bells and whistles. Almost fell asleep at the wheel it was so boring. Some people might get excited by these me I should have brought a blankie for my nap.

I was sitting at a traffic light the other day and as the cars drove past, I thought about how they all looked the same. Good thing kids today have in car DVD systems to watch since they couldn't play "Slug Bug" with modern cars if their life depended on it.
BMW! Do you want people throwing rocks at you? Buy domestic and take your Ba Ba with you on the next test drive.

Friend was off testing them I was along for the ride and got to drive the cars. Can't really say I am interested in any new car right now. Maybe look at the Lincoln MKS as Ford is doing a smart job of weathering the storm so best to put our dollars behind a good horse.

OK, then people will throw rocks at your friend. Leave the blankie and baba at home when you drive with him...take a helmet instead.
Face it, GM and Chrysler are behind the times. Their management missed the boat to secure company finances before the recession and failed to update their designs and model selections. While every manufacturer has been hit hard by the times, and even Toyota and Honda are looking for bail-outs, well managed companies like Ford and Nissan will remain viable. The MKS is a nice choice. We have tons of them running around here.
