Don't know where he got the valuation for this car. He needs to look at the more desirable coupes on eBay right now for 15K. At this price this car does not have a chance of selling. Also the engine should be silver not black. Detailing is not top notch that the price would suggest.

I'll say that it's a very attractive car, but the price is steep. He's probably trying to recoup resto costs. Sadly, it seems that he didn't realize you can't invest more in a car that it's worth and expect to get it back.

50K what the heck is that about? looks like he got a 15K bid he should think himself lucky to get that.

Considering that you could get a well restored, more desireable stepdown sedan for $15k or less a few years ago, he should take the money and run.

I certainly would not pay 27K for this when the super rare Super Eight Coupe is on for 15.5K

There are tons of these cars about I can get one in this shape for about 7K

Its back and the BIN is 27.5K I am doubtful this will sell. The other 47 sedan with two tone green was a nicer car than this and he wanted 25K.

You cannot get your money back out of these types of cars.

Unless someone comes along who has a strong emotional bond with this car and money to blow to, it won't sell. Still, it's a nice car.

Unlike the coupe currently up for bid, and even though this one is a 4 dr, it's nice condition is getting action. This one will most likely sell now.

OK, now that I have your attention...I was looking at the auction that ended. Ooops. Still, I'd think this car has the potential to sell quicker and for more money than the silver coupe that has the piggy engine and chassis. For the money he's asking, the seller needs to pop for a matching spare and correct rubber trunk mat. Pics of a well detailed chassis wouldn't hurt either.

He now has a BIN of $16,500 he has come down over 10K he has realized these cars are not big money cars no matter how well restored.

He should have done a BIN with a best offer.
