Its from the unrelated Hudson Motorcycle company and I don't think that 2 cylinder engine was ever called the Big Six.

Gee, you really do know about everything Hudson. What a beast of a lawn mower engine this could be. LOL

New Hudson Motorcyle Company was an old British motorcycle company based in Birmingham England they had engines with huge pistons. The "big 6" from 1916 was a single cylinder engine I believe. Also I have not seen a V Twin from NH before so I am doubtful this is even a NH engine as the biggest they made was 600CC the ad says its nearly 800CC. Fun stuff I sometimes see the old Hudson bikes for sale or in museums. You have to lament the fact there used to be so many independent builders out there. I guess at least motorcycles are still like that as there are many small shops building bikes.

That's kinda wild for being as old as it is. It looks like the bikes you see in old gangster movies. I like the design of the exhausts.

More in keeping with this thread as I do love vintage motorbikes. Check out this funny ad on ebay. The guy took a 42 Indian which in original condition is worth a lot of money and made a custom bobber out of it. Of course a bobber is a bike that has a springer front end and is stripped down to the minimal. Check out the questions. All are asking how to return it to original. Anyone who buys this is going to return it to OEM. This idiot has to know that.

I was hoping to see a stash of cars and/or parts. Maybe we should drive around in a van and look for Hudsons. LOL
