Here is a project car. Price looks ok if car is solid underneath.

I agree, but think that the starting price is too high.

This one looks like it's almost a driver as is. (I've driven worse on a daily basis) If it was down here, I'd find a way to snag it and tag it up just to bomb around town. (I don't have an everyday car anyway, I just use the bike) This is the best way to find one, clean and unmolested by some wazoo thinking it will be better with a SBC pushing it around.

I ran into a really nice 47 Continental Coupe down here, body and interior were excellent, but some schmuck "improved" it by fitting a set of Cadillac motor mounts, a TH400 trans, and a 10 bolt chebby rear end. He junked the "POS" 414 V12, (which ran), manual trans with overdrive and stock rear-end. Didn't have a caddie motor for it, and didn't realize that his "improvements" even if finished cut the value of the car to about 1/4 it's value when he started.

I'd think it would take some work to become a safe and reliable driver. I agree that being unmolested is a plus. I can't believe some of the crap that's been popping up lately.

Wow, too bad about that 47. I could understand yanking the engine if the car were bound for the crusher, but doing it just for jiggles makes no sense. Then again, lots of stuff people do to otherwise original cars makes no sense to me.
