I want to get this so I can fit it on my Hornet and when I need to get anywhere fast I will let her rip.

well, I saw my share of flashing lights last night. I had a pretty bad accident on the way to work. I'm sore, stiff, bruised, but surviving. The airbag dust has irritated my throat, lungs, etc...

My tahoe didn't fare as well, hope it's okay.

I'm sure I'll be chatting with you guys today at some point.

Stuff like this really sucks.

OMG kid, who cares about the Tahoe. Are you sure you're OK? Send me a PM or EM and let me know. I bet you guys are getting the snow storm that just left here. I hope you're feeling better soon. Take care.

Guys, I'll be fine.

yeah, it's still snowing here. The Vicadin have been doing okay, but I got some pain. I was able to walk around the tahoe, and see it sortof, looks like a front clip, not sure if any mechanical. I wasn't going that fast, surely well within what you would drive for conditions, but just plain reacted to what the guy ahead of me did, and ended up having issues myself. What are you going to do?

I found out that my rental car coverage is only on my PT, not my Tahoe, which sucks, but I'll work around it. Called all of the insurance people and stuff, Hope they will be gentle, since it is my first accident.

a barrier wall at a used car lot. Looks like it was made of railroad ties, or stone? not sure. I never paid much attention to it, even though I have driven by it a thousand times, I figured I would never have to worry what it was made of, or worry about hitting it. Well I guessed wrong. I'm still sore...

For the record, I got Nationwide, you know, they're on my side... we'll see...

Glad to hear that you're OK. Cars and other property are secndary to your well being. Tell Hudsonwife that I prescribe constant massages for you, especially since it's St. Valentines day.

Insurance company slogans I've read on the Net:

State Farm - Like a neighbor who hates you, SF is there.

Farmers - Gets you back to where we want you to belong.

Allstate - Your in good hands, until we close them.

Prudential - Own a piece of the crock.

National - We're on your side, as long is it doesn't cost anything.

Dave,

I think you are being a little cynical here. Amy from SF looks pretty sincere on the commercial and why would she lie really now come on......

Ive had real good luck with Nationwide. At this point, I just want my Tahoe fixed, and back. If they do that' even get it 90%, I'l be happy. It ran and drove great, so as long as it has straight panels, and runs the same, drives the same, heck, they can leave it in primer... I'll be a happy dude. I'm easy to please. They can use china fenders and hood, grille, etc... get me a good radiator, and used airbags, I'll be fine.

Heck, I even contacted a friend that has a 99 Tahoe that he converted to an escalade, and asked if he still had the hood and fenders, bumper, grille, etc... just trying to help my agent out. You know me, always looking out for my best interest...

Sean,

Just posting what others have said. It's merely a coincidence that I just happen to agree with them. Ya, ya, Amy would probably be nice to your face, then $tab you in the back after $he gets what $he want$ from you.

Kid,

Nothing wrong with looking out for number one. But please don't use china fenders, grill or hood. Sure, they may look nice and impress guests, but they chip and crack and you have to wash them on a special cycle in the dishwasher. Even worse, they'll shatter if you drop them on the floor. Stick with paper, plastic or Corelle. Laughing

Damn it Amy said you would be like that she said you wouldn't understand how special she is.....she told me you would be jealous and not to believe you she even said you are probably insured by a company from Russia......she said M200 has been watching you and posting commie alerts.....since I just paid another premium to her I am covered......

Word to the wise always include red protection in your waiver...

I beg your pardon, I'm insured by Mutual of Moscow. Their slogan is, "Like a good comrad, Mutual is Sznagrogozmini." And that's good enough for me. When I applied with them and sent in my kopecs, I used your name. BTW, Amy suggested I do that. So, you're actually on the watch list. Amy is nothing but a cheap tart, and one without icing I may add. Just my two kopecs.

Amy said you might pull the fake Amy ploy, which she listed as red ploy 9B. I am steeled against such overtures and will not abandon her like a good friend she is always there for me......
