| The real deal! A custom coachwork Great-8. I want one of those shift knob clocks! The B.I.N. price is a bit stiff, another exceptional car that may be too specialized for e-bay. Ought to go to RM or Kruse. Whats with the Japanese or Chinese lettering on the body tag? built for export? 1 of 1 for a special oriental customer?

A nice, classic era Hudson.
The Oriental characters tranlate into: Most luxurious driving motor coach will transport rickshaw man to land of wind and ghosts...then something about fried rice and egg rolls.

When your talking custom body green may have been the colour. It certainly would have been silver when it left Hudson.

Maybe someone was trying to copy Duesenberg. It looks like the green they used on their engines.

| Pretty common color for engines, several builders used it, but I've never seen it on a Hudson.

The early F heads from Hudson were green. They were an olive colour.
