His starting bid is what this truck is worth. Tons of rust and lots of work. Plus these guys have not noticed the market is soft right now.

Is it the pictures or are the hood and bed really long?

| Those long lines are the real thing on the 3/4 tons.

| I like those big "man-sized" trucks.

Now that's one man-sized vehicle! I didn't realize that Hudson made more than one model of pick-up. When you stop to think about it, trucks like this (with a bed so large a small car could drive into) helped to build our countries. This was certainly meant to be a HD work vehicle.

Yup half ton and 3/4 ton and the 3/4 ton is called the Big Boy pickup. Warren has the 3/4 nice looking truck. I want one and when I get mine I will haul stuff around in it. Like it was meant to be used.

Ah, the Big Boy. I remember hearing that name but didn't realize it was for the larger of two pick-ups. Hey, Sean, plenty of room in the back of that Big Boy for granny in a rocking chair.

Not much car stuff happening besides accumulating the odd part here and there. Without a heated shop it gets pretty hard to be motivated in the winter. So I've been busy doing some small home renovations, changing jobs, working on my daily driver, and planning a possible acreage move this summer.
The new job will allow me to pick up a sweet original 36 REO Speedwagon 1/2 ton in a few weeks and perhaps a truck camper and enclosed car trailer later in the spring. (Better to visit Leduc for a well known Hudson meet!) If I can find a good restoration shop I could get some work done on a few of the antiques and make some headway finally.
Today's blizzard has kept me inside. -25c in the shop and -41c/F windchill outside. Eeek!

Yeah I was just out shoveling snow. about half a foot out there. The wind was pretty nasty and I was bundled up. Got a keep on top of it though.
Wow an REO Speedwagon 1/2 ton that will be sweet.
Yeah you better be at the meet this year we are moving to three day so we need all hands on deck for the fun.
I have radiant heaters over the work bench in the garage but I am not motivated to get out in that weather and do anything.

Not a Hudson, but still pretty cool. Love those curves.

Thats a nice truck. I hope you plan on installing an eight track player so you can listen to REO Speedwagon while you drive your REO Speedwagon LOL

You don't need an eight track, just open the windows to hear the REO ridin' the storm out.

Na, don't need the eight track, I can still hear those head change points in their songs even today. Ka-chunk!
