There is more than just a passing similarity between the Lincoln Zephyr and the big Hudsons of the same era. Both were built by Briggs Body manufacturing, at the Mack Avenue plant and shipped to the parent company plants for final assembly. No wonder the Hudson has such great looking coachwork and fantastic skirts..... John Tjaarda at Briggs.

The Magnificent Dutchman, (whom Harley Earle at GM said had little talent and wouldn't hire) had his fingers in Zephyrs, Hudsons, Chryslers and Packards through 1954!

As a result, it looks like the value of your car may have increased. LOL BTW, Checker also built bodies for Hudson, not to mention those done in house and at coach builders like Biddle and Smart, Durham, etc.

I knew that darn car of Zephs was a Hudson. He always wondered why all the logos on the car said Hudson.

Of course it's a Hudson, look at that beautiful design. Oh, and those skirts...
