Folks,
we have 205 members and we are still growing. Thanks to those who have signed up and I hope we are providing a good place to find Hudson information and also a good place to hang out.
Please those who have signed up join us in the forum and let us know about your cars and projects. We have a bunch of Hudnuts who are waiting to share what they know and are happy to see any new faces and especially new cars.
So thanks to all those who have signed up and if you want to see anything different or have ideas for additions drop into the forum and let us know..
Hudson information and Lore served hot and fresh 7/24

In addition to free refills, you get respect here and don't have to leave a tip.

We're all about the cars, helping one another and having fun. No time to waste on BS or drama here.

Wha? where does that leave me then? Oh wait, I know what it means, I just bring topics to the table that too many people don't like to discuss, that's all. I don't create the drama, or the BS, others seem to want to hang me with it though...

Yep, that seems to be a problem. Lot's of really, really mean and ugly people out there. It kills me when people get so wound up...and for what? If you like and/or agree with someone has to say, fine. If not, don't make a fool of yourself by showing the world you're a raving lunatic. I say that if someone has a problem with another, work it out between yourselves in private. However, some people seem to delight in mocking others in public. Maybe it's an inferiority complex, maybe a power/head trip thing. Remember what the bible says, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." With that being said, there are lots of people out there that just need to shut TF up.

| A Hudson board shouldn't have the flame wars and that kind of crap, Antique car guys who are into lightly or non-modified cars tend to be a lot more mature than the ricerboys and such. Most of us realize that sticking a red "R" on the back, adding a 4 foot tall wing and a 6" polished fartcan exhaust doesn't give you 150 extra horsepower and make all the little girlies hot for you.

Fatcan? Is that what they call those stupid, coffee can sized mufflers? The ricerboys make me laugh, especially when the bass from their K-mart sound systems make their car's body panels fart and ripple.

Hey, I had a ricerboy neon, for a while. Mine was more of a sleeper, no wing, no fartcan, no red "R", but I did add quite a bit of HP to it, and it had a nice mellow dual exhaust sound, Oh, and it was lopey at idle, with the hotter crane cam grinds.... And the midnight street racing....
Fun car to drive... bad investment....

I remember hearing about that car.
Newer cars are a depreciating asset.

My biggest problem with those cars and any modded car is the idiots that race them on the street and kill people. I am all for taking them to the track and letting go. Last summer we had a rash of people killed by these morons. They hop them up then forget they can't drive. They think its fast and furious and they are Tokyo drifters.
Thats where my 71 Ford 3/4 ton comes in. Roll cage and nascar seat and restraints concrete in the doors. Steel buckle plate welded on in critical areas and lifted suspension. I see these morons racing I drive over them.

I just laugh at the buzzy little cars. Back in my day, everyone jacked up the rear end, installed large tires and dual exhausts. Didn't matter if the car was a 4dr. Face it, every generation has brain farts.

I used to work on all the local kids' neons. They always thought they had me each time I would work on their cars. They forgot, I had all the knowledge. I would easily reel them in any time they wanted. We always were out on the highway, no traffic, late at night.
Now, I'll just drive my old hudson around, no danger there.
