This looks to be a nice project. All the parts are there except the drivetrain which is easy to supply. Body looks in really good shape and all the hard to find convertible parts and trim are there. And all the chrome is redone. I wonder what he wants for this. Probably 10K +

Looks like a really big, solid gigsaw puzzle. Considering the costs (engine, trans, top, interior, paint and ?) to complete this, only a well seasonsed DIY guy (like Sean) could make this economically feasible. Will he buy it..?

| Sweet with one of those JC Whitney 7X crate motors (for the price listed in the old ad!) It looks like most of the difficult PITA structural work, pans, frame, door hanging, etc. has been done. paint, and a couple years of careful fitting and assembling and this could be a gem.

Well here you go...this is your next project and it's not too far.
Just need to find a few old timers who worked for Hudson, fill them full of caffine, Geritol and speed and the car will be done in a few days.

This is a fine solid project. The expensive stuff is done already. Assembly and paint are nothing and I have lots of engines I could throw in this when Dave buys it.

It's up to 6k smackers so far. For that kind of money, I could buy a fleet of Meteor LeMoynes.
Too much work for me, but I'll gladly store it here for you guys.
In order for this car to be fea$ible, you'd have to have a spare engine and trans (both rebuilt) ready to drop in. The ticket for the paint, top and interior alone would be about 15k. The condition of the hydraulic pump, cylinders and lines is unknown. That's probably another 2k. It will be amazing if Sean pays more than 10k for this.
