We have two official languages English and French. And yes we get screwed on cars coming in here and even now that we are a $1.02 US on our dollar nothing has changed on the imports. Parts for me are good though just bought some stuff from Clifford. Just stocking up while the getting is good.

It don't quite get the distinct division between the French and English speaking parts of the country. That must cause a communication nightmare. Also, I've heard the French speakers are as haughty as those in France. Ever been to Quebec?
Oh, no, more mods...

I should hope I have been to Quebec Dave as I bought my Hornet there and drove through Quebec and across Canada and home. The people there were beautiful and no we have no real nightmare as most people speak one or both so you can always get along. The history of this goes way back to the start of the country and Canadians are nothing if not accommodating. I have not run in to any haughty people in my travels. I have been through Quebec on a train and its really beautiful. The guy I bought my car off was a great guy and he still calls me to see if everything is alright.

Down here, we hear so little about Canada and, therefore, asume that nothing much goes on there. I think the most exposure people in the States have to Canada are your TV shows. I can't explain why I'm amazed, but life there seems just like here. I guess I must have somehow had a misconception that being a different country, life (or maybe customs) would be diferent. Although people who I've spoken to that have been to Canada say it's beautiful, everyone says that the French speakers are snobby and refuse to speak English unless they absolutely have to. I've also heard that they refuse to print anything (menus, road signs, etc.) in English. Personally, I could care less since I'll never have the occasion to go there.

Yeah those stories are usually a load of crap. Quebec has a big tourist industry so pissing people off and not serving them is not very helpful. I have the luxury of traveling all over the world and I do it invisibly I learn the languages and the customs and I like to immerse myself in other cultures. I don't travel then look McDonalds. I go local. Usually have a better time. Don't have any stories of people pissing me off and I travel more than most 158,000 miles last year.

I bet you're just sticking up for your fellow countrymen.
So, you're saying you fly the equivalent of 6+ times around the earth per year?
I'd love to hear you speak Chinese.

Yes about that. Each trip down to SA with interior travel is around 12K miles. Then over to Europe and back to SA up to Canada down to States. Lots of travel. My goal this year has been to stop living in planes. So far I am doing alright. I have Gold Executive Elite status on United. Which is good as they treat me right.

Might I suggest a way of attaining your goal, hire a blimp or balloon. Then you can live in a gondola.
Thank god United doesn't treat you left.

Good food on an airplane! Now I know they've brain washed you. Must be jet lag. Wouldn't a stop over at ORD be nice if there were a Red 1953 Hudson Hornet convertible (that I'm still waiting for) there to pick you up for a night in the cesspool?

Yes I think that would be fun. My next trip on the way back I will stop over and stay at your house and we will regale each other with Hudson lies until the sun rises......
Heck let me tell you in Business and FC on United the food is excellent not the dog food of coach. Its really good. I usually have the Salmon or trout and its great. Its a 5 course meal. Should be for the ticket price but on travel I make zero compromises as it gives me a sh*t kicking to fly for that long and then hit the ground and have to do business.....

You've got it. Just bring along your PJs.
Ooh, a good fish meal. Right up my alley. With all the talk about blood clots forming in the legs of those who sit for extended periods of time, you have to be careful when flying great distances. Get up often and stretch those legs. Maybe talk to your DR about taking something (asprin?) to thin the blood.

Yup all over that a good walk and the fact seats up front do all kinds of crazy things like massage your calfs and raise your legs up so clots are less likely to form. Like I said I don't fly coach its the one thing in my business I treat myself to. Oh yeah my employees fly it but I do not. Thats why I am king and they are not....

Sorry, I forgot that you stopped stowing away in the cargo hold. It must have been tough to get the other stow aways to message your calves. I wonder when someone will throw a clot and sue the airlines stating that they (the airlines) were aware of a problem and only offered a solution to those flying first class. Ooops, gotta go, I hear an ambulance.
